A Proven Public Servant: Ready to Serve Talbot County

A Proven Public Servant: Ready to Serve Talbot County

In local government, there is no substitute for experience. My time serving as President of the Easton Town Council provided me with a working knowledge of how local government budgets, planning, and regulations truly impact residents and businesses.

I am not starting with a learning curve; I am ready to be effective on day one.

My previous term allowed me to focus resources and deliver results for the community:

  • Practical Governing: I successfully navigated complex local issues, from infrastructure maintenance to zoning disputes, relying on facts and common sense.
  • Accountability: I maintained open communication with constituents and ensured government spending was transparent and directly beneficial to the community.
  • Invaluable Insight: I gained a deep understanding of the inter-agency cooperation required to tackle county-wide challenges, from working with the Board of Education to supporting our Sheriff's Office.

My decision to seek office again is driven by a desire to apply this hard-earned perspective to the broader challenges facing all of Talbot County—from the watermen and farmers to the small business owners, young families and retirees. I offer the principles and experience needed to ensure our county government is efficient, responsive, and responsible.
