I believe the best government is local, efficient, and rooted in the needs of its residents. My time serving Easton as the Town Council President provided me with a deep, working understanding of the challenges facing our communities and the fundamental responsibility of managing taxpayer dollars.

I am running for County Council to deliver responsible, common-sense solutions that protect our quality of life, strengthen our local economy, and ensure transparent governance for every resident across Talbot County.

A Prudent and Experienced Voice Ready to Serve All Residents

I am running for County Council to deliver responsible, common-sense solutions that protect our quality of life, strengthen our local economy, and ensure transparent governance for every resident across Talbot County.

Proven Principles.
Practical Results.

My previous service means I don't have a learning curve; I am ready to apply a practical, principled approach to the challenges we face.

Time away from public office has only strengthened my commitment to our community and given me a fresh perspective on the issues that matter most.

During my term in public service, I upheld fundamental principles by:

  • Fiscal Prudence: Successfully managed a $28 million dollar budget while maintaining a firm stance against unnecessary tax increases, ensuring every dollar spent is a value to the taxpayer. This is reinforced by the fact that we the budget remained flat year-over-year.
  • Standing with Law Enforcement and First Responders: In addition to ensuring that Easton Police Department and Easton Volunteer Fire Department had what they needed, I led the town in its formal opposition to Maryland State Bill 29. A bill that would have made the it difficult for law enforcement to maintain
  • Focusing on Essentials: Directed government resources toward core services, prioritizing public safety (funding for the Sheriff's Office) and maintaining critical county infrastructure.

Putting Talbot County First: My Priorities

I am committed to a platform built on sound governance that protects our county's heritage and economic future.

  • Taxpayer Advocacy: Vigilantly reviewing the county budget to prevent waste, control spending, and keep property tax rates stable and predictable for our families and seniors.
  • Local Control & Public Safety: Fully funding our first responders and ensuring local decision-makers—not Annapolis—are empowered to address our community's unique concerns.
  • Responsible Stewardship: Supporting voluntary, locally-driven approaches to environmental health that protect our precious farmland and waterways without undue regulatory burden on our businesses and property owners.

A True Talbot County Neighbor

My connection to Talbot County runs deep, shaped by family and service:

My grandparents first moved here from North Carolina in the early 1970s, drawn by the opportunities at the Black & Decker plant. While my father's naval service meant my family lived across the country and even in Japan, Talbot County was always home. We returned to Easton at the end of my sophomore year, and I proudly graduated from Easton High School in 2006.

After college and time abroad teaching English in South America, I made the decision to return permanently in 2016. My wife, Iryna, and I are now raising our two young children, Maria and Frankie, here.

As a Business Operations Consultant, I apply practical problem-solving to help organizations succeed. My active involvement in local leadership demonstrates my belief that shared values and collaboration are the foundation of a strong county. My community service includes:

  • Talbot County Chamber of Commerce: Current Secretary on the Executive Committee and full Board.
  • Easton Rotary Club: Current President.
  • St. Mark's United Methodist Church: Missions Committee Chairman and Administrative Board member.
  • VFW Auxiliary: Committed Member.

A Voice for All Residents.
A Vote for Common Sense.

Now is the time for experienced, principled leadership on the Talbot County Council. I ask for your support to bring common-sense back to county government.
