Early Voting Starts Thursday in Talbot County: Here Is What You Need to Know
Early voting starts this Thursday, October 22, and Talbot County makes it easy. Here is everything you need to know before you go.
One note before that: if you want to hear from the candidates in person, we will all be at Scossa Restaurant tonight, Monday, October 19, from 6 to 8 PM, for an evening called Pasta and Politics. Tickets are $15. It is a good chance to ask us anything before you cast your ballot.

When you can vote early
Thursday, October 22 through Thursday, October 29. Polls are open 7 AM to 8 PM every single day, including Saturday and Sunday.
Where you vote early
Talbot County has one early voting center: the Easton Volunteer Fire Department at 315 Leonard Rieck Drive in Easton. Any registered Talbot County voter can vote there, no matter which town or district you live in.
Know someone who is not registered?
Maryland lets people register and vote on the same day during early voting. They just need proof of where they live, like a driver’s license, a utility bill, or a bank statement. Pass it along, especially to anyone who just moved to the county.
Prefer to vote by mail?
If you want your ballot mailed to you, the state needs your request by Tuesday, October 27. If you want it sent to you online so you can print it at home, request it by Friday, October 30. You can do the whole thing at Maryland’s official absentee voting page.
Election Day
Tuesday, November 3, from 7 AM to 8 PM, at your regular polling place. If you vote early, you are done, and you do not need to do anything else.
However you vote, the important thing is that you vote. See you at the polls!
Support Team Frank
We are in the final stretch and every dollar raised goes directly to promoting our digital advertising to as many people as possible. $25 makes a big difference.
Additionally, you can help by donating your time. The volunteer opportunities are, but not limited to: sign-waving, door-knocking, phone banking, and handing out voter guides at the polls. We need all hands on deck to make sure we get out the vote and get our message across during these last two weeks.
Thank you for your ongoing support!
