We Are November Bound! Thank You, Talbot County!

I woke up this morning with one thing on my mind: thank you.

You showed up. You voted. You volunteered your time standing outside polling locations in the heat, and the intense rain at times. You made phone calls, sent texts, and told your neighbors why this race matters. That effort carried us through.

Here are the official results:

All five Republican candidates: Callahan, Gunsallus, MacKendrick, Stepp, and Strickland advanced to the November general election. Talbot County Republicans spoke clearly yesterday. The Dream Team is through!

I also want to congratulate Lynn Mielke on a hard-fought race. Public service takes courage, and I respect anyone willing to put themselves forward for their community.

I finished 4th among the five advancing candidates with well over 2,000 votes, and I could not be more grateful.

But this isn't over. It's just beginning.

The general election is November 2026, and Democrats will be organized, funded, and motivated. So will we. Winning in November means building a real campaign and that takes resources.
